Mike Elliott Coaching Inc. ("we," "us") runs itsmikeelliott.com and offers coaching programs, courses and content. We care about your trust. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Contact details: your name and email address when you sign up for a free resource, newsletter, course or coaching session.
Payment information: payments are processed securely by our platform providers, Kajabi and Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Coaching information: session notes, intake forms and anything you choose to share with us during coaching.
Basic site data: standard information such as browser type, pages visited and cookies that help the site work and help us understand what's useful.

How we use it

We use your information to:

deliver the programs, courses and sessions you signed up for;
send you emails you asked for (you can unsubscribe any time with one click);
process payments and keep business records;
support and improve our coaching and content.

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the business (such as Kajabi, Stripe, Google and Zoom), and only as needed to provide our services, or when the law requires it.

Confidentiality of coaching

What you share in coaching is treated as confidential. Session notes are kept private and are used only to support your work with us.

Google and YouTube data

We use an internal application, "Mike YouTube," that connects to YouTube API Services. This app accesses YouTube data only for our own YouTube channels, so we can upload and manage our videos and read our channel analytics. It does not access, collect or store data about viewers or any other YouTube user's account.

By using our YouTube content you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can review or revoke any app's access to a Google account at any time through the Google security settings page.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to serve you, meet our legal and tax obligations, or resolve disputes. Coaching notes are kept for the length of our work together plus a reasonable period afterward, then securely deleted. Data from the YouTube API is kept only as long as needed for managing and reviewing our own channels.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable platforms with strong security and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we take care to protect your information.

Your rights

We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, subject to any legal requirements to keep certain records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
